· In the Second Stage water travels through a multi-stage filter that consists of one micron filter pad, one micron pad and removes hundreds of contaminants from your drinking water.

· In the Third Stage water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's, insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.
